Assistant Manager – Production (Plastic Paint Finishing)

Location: New Delhi

Experience Required: 5–12 Years

Salary Range: ₹4 – 5 LPA

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production operations in the plastic paint finishing department.

• Plan, schedule, and execute production activities to meet quality and delivery timelines.

• Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Implement and maintain quality standards for painted plastic components.

• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and planning teams to ensure smooth workflow.

• Drive productivity improvements and reduce rejections/rework.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and 5S practices on the shop floor.

• Train and guide shop floor operators and supervisors for skill enhancement.

• Prepare and maintain production reports, MIS, and other documentation.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of plastic paint finishing processes (primer, base coat, top coat, clear coat, etc.).

• Experience in handling automotive/consumer durable plastic components preferred.

• Hands-on exposure to painting booths, robotic painting, pre-treatment, and curing processes.

• Familiarity with quality tools – Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, and ISO/TS standards.

• Good leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
