Responsibilities:
MIS Preparation: Prepare management information system (MIS) reports, including financial statements, budget variance analysis, cost reports, and other financial data to support decision-making and provide accurate financial information to management.
Balance Sheet Finalization: Oversee the process of finalizing the balance sheet, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and timely reporting. Perform reconciliations, review ledger accounts, and ensure appropriate adjustments are made.
Overall AR/AP Controlling: Supervise and control the accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes, including monitoring cash flows, credit control, timely invoicing, payment processing, and vendor management. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Audits Handling: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, including statutory audits, tax audits, and internal control audits. Prepare necessary documentation, facilitate audit processes, and address audit queries to ensure compliance and accuracy of financial records.
Budget Preparation: Participate in the budgeting process, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to gather inputs, analyze historical data, forecast future financial requirements, and prepare the annual budget. Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
Direct Tax and Related Handling: Handle direct tax-related matters, including tax planning, compliance, and timely filing of tax returns. Stay updated with tax laws and regulations, assess tax implications, and provide guidance to ensure tax efficiency and adherence to legal requirements.
SAP Preferable: Proficiency in SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) is preferred. Utilize SAP software for financial data management, reporting, and analysis. Ensure accurate and timely data entry, generate reports, and leverage SAP functionality to streamline financial processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) , ICWA with 10-15 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, regulations, and reporting standards.
Proficient in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and management reports.
Experience in managing accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes.
Familiarity with auditing procedures and standards.
Sound understanding of budgeting and financial planning.
Expertise in direct tax handling and compliance.
SAP knowledge and proficiency is highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Results-oriented with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
