Job Title: Plant Head – Rubber Moulding Operations

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana
Experience Required: 22 to 28 Years
Salary: Up to ₹50 LPA

Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned plant operations leader with deep expertise in Rubber Moulding to lead end-to-end plant management. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge in rubber compounding, injection/compression moulding, and production excellence, capable of driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and high-quality output at a strategic level.


Key Responsibilities:

Plant Operations & Strategy:

  • Lead overall manufacturing operations, including production, maintenance, quality, EHS, and supply chain.

  • Drive OTIF, OEE, TPM, 5S, and lean manufacturing initiatives across the plant.

  • Monitor production planning, machine efficiency, and manpower allocation for optimal utilization.

  • Implement best-in-class practices for rubber moulding processes – injection, compression, transfer moulding.

  • Collaborate with R&D and design teams for new product industrialization and trial runs.

Rubber Moulding Expertise:

  • Oversee rubber compounding, mold design review, process optimization, and troubleshooting.

  • Ensure defect-free moulding and curing through effective control of temperature, pressure, and curing cycles.

  • Handle high-volume rubber parts for automotive and industrial customers with strict quality standards (e.g., NVH, sealing, hoses).

  • Familiarity with EPDM, NBR, NR, SBR, FKM and other elastomeric materials and their process behaviors.

Quality, Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 adherence and lead internal/external audits.

  • Drive continuous improvement, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Ensure all statutory and regulatory compliance across plant functions including labour laws and EHS norms.

Team Management & Cost Leadership:

  • Lead a cross-functional team of 200–500+ workforce across multiple shifts.

  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives, productivity enhancement, scrap reduction, and energy savings.

  • Foster a culture of ownership, discipline, and performance-driven leadership.


Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong command over Rubber Moulding Technology, Process Engineering & Plant Operations.

  • Leadership in large-scale automotive or rubber-based component manufacturing.

  • Experience in automation, robotics integration, and digital manufacturing is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, vendor negotiation, and people management skills.

  • B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical / Polymer / Rubber Technology
